About the Role We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead and develop the Sydney VAS 3rd Party Distribution Centre. This pivotal role is responsible for managing day-to-day operations, ensuring exceptional service levels across picking, despatch, and on-time deliveries to our customers. You will drive operational efficiency, maintain cost control within agreed budgets, and implement strategies that support continuous improvement and growth. This position is on site based at Ingleburn, NSW. A day in the life of an Operations Manager at Toll Group: Manage and optimise 3PL operations, including relationships, performance, SLAs, KPIs, costs, and continuous improvement initiatives. Lead and mentor the 3PL warehouse team, ensuring day-to-day operational excellence and performance management. Oversee end-to-end client service delivery, covering quotations, inventory control, inbound scheduling, order processing, packing, VAS, and dispatch. Collaborate across supply chain and distribution teams to achieve on-time availability and full delivery to customers. Develop and monitor reporting, KPIs, budgets, and forecasts, including accountability for 3PL P&L and capacity planning. Ensure compliance and safety standards, including SOPs, HSE requirements, site inspections, toolbox meetings, and continuous safety conversations. About You: Extensive experience in operational third-party logistics (essential). Familiarity with Cargo wise systems (desirable) or Technically savvy. Ability to balance & meet the expectations of internal and external stakeholders Strong self-management skills - takes responsibility for tasks, deadlines, and deliverables.
