The Operations Manager will oversee day-to-day operations at the True World Foods Houston facility. This role is responsible for managing production, warehouse, and distribution functions while ensuring efficiency, quality, compliance, and safety standards are maintained. The Operations Manager will directly supervise tuna cutters, fish cutters, delivery drivers, and warehouse workers, while also coordinating closely with the General Manager and other departments to achieve operational goals.

QUALIFICATIONS

· Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
· 5+ years of operations or warehouse management experience, preferably in food distribution or seafood industry.
· Strong leadership skills with experience supervising diverse teams.
· Knowledge of food safety regulations, and OSHA compliance.
· Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
· Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, or weekends as needed.

· Operational Leadership
o Manage and oversee daily operations, including cutting, packing, warehouse, and delivery functions.
o Ensure workflow efficiency, product quality, and timely customer order fulfillment.
o Develop and implement operational policies, procedures, and best practices to enhance productivity.
· Team Management
o Directly supervise tuna cutters, fish cutters, delivery drivers, and multiple warehouse workers.
o Provide training, coaching, and performance evaluations to team members.
o Promote a safe, disciplined, and collaborative work environment.
· Logistics & Warehouse Oversight
o Ensure inventory accuracy, proper product handling, and cold storage compliance.
o Coordinate delivery schedules and optimize driver routes for efficiency.
o Monitor equipment and facilities, arranging repairs and maintenance as needed.
· Compliance & Safety
o Enforce food safety, sanitation, and OSHA standards across operations.
o Ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.
o Drive continuous improvement in workplace safety culture.
· Collaboration & Reporting
o Work closely with the General Manager, Sales, and Office staff to align operations with business needs.
o Prepare reports on operational performance, labor utilization, and productivity.
o Contribute to budget planning and cost control initiatives.
