Operations Manager, Victoria - Power Networks O&M Lead major electricity network contracts across Victoria UGL’s Utilities O&M business delivers critical maintenance services across electricity transmission and distribution infrastructure. In Victoria, we partner with key clients including Powercor and AusNet, supporting overhead powerlines, fault response, outage works and network upgrades. We’re now looking for an experienced Operations Manager to lead our Victorian operations through a strong period of growth. Why this role Lead a $30M+ power networks portfolio, with clear growth toward $100M+. Oversee major long-term contracts with Powercor & AusNet. Manage a ~50-strong workforce across field and operational teams. Drive end-to-end delivery across maintenance, construction and outages. About the role We’re seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead power networks operations across Victoria, overseeing delivery across maintenance, construction, outages and upgrades. You’ll lead a ~50-strong workforce across metro and regional depots from Tullamarine, driving performance across key Powercor and AusNet contracts. This is a senior role with full accountability for P&L, client performance and operational outcomes, with strong growth opportunities as the business continues to expand. Key responsibilities Lead end-to-end delivery across maintenance, construction, outage and upgrade programs. Manage a ~50-strong field workforce including lineworkers, electricians and supervisors. Own full P&L performance, including budgeting, forecasting and cost control. Deliver against contract KPIs across Powercor and AusNet programs. Strong leadership capability across blue-collar / field-based teams. Proven experience managing contracts, KPIs and client relationships. Demonstrated ownership of P&L and operational performance.
