Job Overview The Operations Manager will play a pivotal role in the hotel’s pre-opening setup and day-to-day management once operational. This position ensures that all departments front office, housekeeping, maintenance, and guest relations — run efficiently, aligned with the hotel’s brand standards and service culture. Key Responsibilities Oversee daily hotel operations, ensuring smooth coordination between departments. Monitor performance standards, guest satisfaction scores, and operational KPIs. Supervise Front Office, Housekeeping, Maintenance, and Guest Relations teams. Handle guest feedback, service recovery, and complaint resolution promptly and professionally. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations. Manage inventory, purchasing, and cost control to meet budget targets. Implementing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Participate in recruitment, onboarding, and training of hotel staff. Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and vendors to ensure timely setup of all operational areas. Test and implement operational systems (PMS, POS, housekeeping, and maintenance software). Set up inventory systems for housekeeping, amenities, and F&B supplies. Support the marketing and sales team in pre-opening initiatives and soft launch activities. Handling budgeting, financial reports, and operational improvements. Implement initiatives for sustainability and operational efficiency. Maintain a strong presence on the floor, especially during peak guest interactions. Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field. Minimum 3–5 years of experience in hotel operations or management, preferably in a boutique or luxury hotel setting. Proven experience in pre-opening operations will be considered a strong asset. Solid understanding of front office, housekeeping, and maintenance workflows. Proficient in hotel management systems (PMS such as Opera, Cloudbeds, or RoomRaccoon). Analytical mindset with attention to detail and operational efficiency. Exceptional problem-solving and guest service skills. Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure.
