Operations Manager, WA - Electricity Networks O&M UGL delivers critical infrastructure and essential services across resources, defence, transport, and the power and renewables sectors. Within UGL, our Utilities Operations & Maintenance (O&M) business supports the safe and reliable operation of electricity transmission and distribution networks through long term service contracts, built on strong client relationships, commercial discipline and quality delivery. In Western Australia, our Utilities O&M business supports major electricity networks through long‑standing contracts with Western Power, delivering essential maintenance and construction services across the network. supporting critical upgrades to WA’s energy infrastructure. About the role This role has full responsibility for UGL’s Utilities O&M operations in Western Australia, including delivery performance across maintenance and construction activities, financial management and client relationships. You’ll lead a workforce of around 80 employees, with the ability to scale headcount as workload increases. This role plays a key part in driving consistency, safety and commercial performance as the business continues to grow. Working closely with Western Power leadership, you’ll drive performance against agreed KPIs, ensure operational excellence on site, and maintain strong visibility across depot and project environments. Key responsibilities Lead day to day operations across Utilities O&M contracts in Western Australia. Own full P&L responsibility, including budgeting, forecasting and cost control. Provide strong leadership. Oversee maintenance and construction programs for electricity distribution and transmission assets. Proven experience leading large operational teams. Demonstrated ownership of P&L, budgets and forecasting, with strong commercial and contract management capability. Experience delivering programs of work, managing client KPIs, and actively supporting business growth.
