Our client is the world leader in the manufacture, engineering, maintenance, and servicing of Cable Belt conveyor systems. The manufacturing facility / office is conveniently located within driving distance of both Mandurah and Bunbury. They are now looking to hire an experienced Operations Manager that will directly report into the General Manager of the company.

 

Position Purpose:

To deliver safe, efficient and on-time production output and field service operations for the company. Lead and develop a team of supervisors and specialist leads to execute the production schedule, manage site operations, and maintain the standard of quality and safety required across factory and field environments.

Direct Reports (6 in total):

  • Supervisor
  • Leading Hands x 3
  • Technical Services Lead
  • Warehouse & Inventory Controller

Qualifications & Experience:

  • 8-10+ years' experience in manufacturing or industrial operations, with at least 3 years in a people leadership role
  • Demonstrated track record developing supervisor capability and driving accountability frameworks
  • Experience managing both production and field / technical service functions is advantageous
  • Solid understanding of production planning, scheduling and continuous improvement principles
  • Relevant qualifications in operations management, engineering or a related discipline (desirable)
  • WA local industrial and safety legislative requirements
