Description

Operations Manager – Wireline Location: Dresden, ON Canada Job Scope Responsible for overseeing all operational activities for Wireline services in the region with full financial accountability. Ensures equipment and personnel readiness in compliance with industry standards, Weatherford quality procedures, customer requirements, and safety guidelines, while meeting or exceeding financial targets. Requires strong leadership, operational expertise, commitment to service quality, and financial acumen. Key Responsibilities: Manage P&L, including revenue and cost forecasting. Ensure accurate and timely equipment load-outs per client requirements. Actively review facility and operations ensuring efficient workflow and compliance with standards. Motivate teams to achieve operational goals; recommend process and equipment utilization improvements. Analyze and resolve operational and financial challenges, support team problem-solving. Maintain a clean, organized operations base and facilities. Consistently evaluate personnel performance Enforce safety regulations and maintain a safe work environment. Actively participate in Quality and HSE initiatives. Provide 24-hour on-call support as required. Perform other delegated responsibilities within competency. Qualifications & Skills: Minimum 5+ years in supervisory or operations management within oilfield services. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to mentor and develop personnel. Solid project management and organizational skills. Proven collaboration with internal teams and external clients. Self-motivated with strong commitment to safety and service quality.
