OVERVIEW:

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Operations Manager to lead and optimise our daily operations. This role is key to ensuring the efficiency, productivity, and success of our business. The ideal candidate will be a natural leader with a passion for operational excellence, a strategic mindset, and a track record of delivering measurable results.

KEY SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Proven experience in operations management or a similar role, ideally within the technology, repair, or logistics sector.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience managing teams of 10 or more.
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills, with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
  • Proficient in analysing operational data and using performance metrics to inform decision-making.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Experience with project management methodologies is a strong advantage.
  • Familiarity with industry-specific software or tools (training can be provided).
  • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • A proactive, hands-on approach and a passion for driving continuous improvement.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and monitor operational strategies to drive productivity, efficiency, and growth across all areas of the business.
  • Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring seamless workflows and swift resolution of issues to maintain a high standard of performance.
  • Collaborate with departments to establish clear performance goals, KPIs, and ensure alignment with broader business objectives.
  • Analyse operational data and business processes to identify areas for improvement, cost-saving opportunities, and increased efficiency.
  • Lead, mentor, and support teams to foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and excellence.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, health and safety regulations, and company policies.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including suppliers, partners, and clients, to enhance operational success.
  • Prepare detailed operational performance reports and present findings and recommendations to senior management.
  • Oversee resource allocation, inventory management, and project timelines to optimise productivity.
  • Drive initiatives to improve customer satisfaction and ensure a seamless experience across touchpoints.
