Woods & Co Recruitment is proud to partner with a well-established flooring business to find an experienced Operations Manager to lead operational processes, finance and project delivery.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing business with an outstanding reputation for delivering high-quality flooring projects across Sand & Finish and Residential work. You'll play a pivotal role managing the operations inbox, contractor invoices and payments, monthly reporting and KPIs, and overseeing the operations team.

This position is suited to a hands-on operations professional who enjoys balancing financial administration, project coordination and team leadership.

What's in it for you?

  • $120,000 - $130,000 + Super 
  • Tullamarine location, Monday to Friday, 8:00am–4:00pm

What you'll do?

  • Manage the operations inbox and handle day-to-day email communication
  • Process contractor invoices, payments and Hourly Works Variations
  • Compile and distribute monthly reports and KPIs, and run the weekly Operations meeting
  • Prepare, submit and track progress claims through to approval and reconciliation
  • Coordinate Purchase Orders, back charges and union compliance with Finance
  • Oversee the operations team, resolve escalated issues, and manage stock and procurement
  • Drive process improvements to enhance efficiency and client satisfaction

What you need?

  • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Strong organisational and leadership skills with high attention to detail
  • Experience working with contractors, suppliers and project stakeholders
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously
  • Strong analytical skills with a focus on process improvement
  • Self-driven, composed under pressure, and thrives in a fast-paced environment
