Description

Description - Oversee all container vessel operations and cost-related activities, ensuring compliance with internal controls and operational standards. - Liaise with ports, terminals, and stevedores to maintain schedule integrity and operational efficiency. - Manage vessel operations across Asia, providing 24/7 support for all operational requirements. - Advise on special cargo acceptance, including OOG (Out of Gauge) and kill-slot allocations. - Coordinate vessel substitutions, destination changes, and other voyage adjustments as needed. - Issue coastal schedules promptly to vessels, local agents, terminals, partner lines, and regional offices, ensuring strict adherence to planned timelines. - Maintain close communication with local agents and terminals regarding berthing window changes, instructing Masters to adjust speed for bunker savings or to meet direct berthing schedules. Requirements - Proven experience working with container vessels - In-depth knowledge of international shipping rules and regulations - Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint - Fluent in English (spoken, written, and reading) - Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging effectively with customers and colleagues at all levels - Skilled in using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM software - Able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team - Proficient in written and spoken English and Cantonese; Mandarin is a plu
