Adecco is currently seeking an experienced and data-driven Operations Merchandising Specialist to lead the strategy, execution, and optimization of in-app merchandising initiatives. This role is ideal for professionals who excel in cross-functional collaboration, thrive on analytics, and have a passion for enhancing digital consumer experiences. You will play a critical role in shaping how users engage with offers and promotions across the app ecosystem. This is a high-impact role where creativity, precision, and performance insights come together to drive measurable business results.

  • Pay rate: $50-$57/hour.
  • Location: Toronto, ON (Hybrid: 3 days in-office / 2 days remote)
  • Shifts: Monday-Friday 9:00am-5:00pm
  • Job type: 6-month contract | Full-time

Responsibilities:

  • Design and execute in-app merchandising strategies that align with high-impact consumer moments.
  • Oversee the setup and deployment of merchandising events across app platforms, identifying relevant merchants and campaigns.
  • Partner with Product, Marketing, and Ops teams to ensure seamless end-to-end merchandising execution.
  • Develop and run structured A/B tests to measure merchandising effectiveness.
  • Analyze data to uncover performance insights and guide future strategy.
  • Use SQL to manipulate large datasets for campaign reporting, trend analysis, and decision-making.
  • Present actionable insights clearly to stakeholders to drive continuous improvement.

Requirements:

  • Must be legally eligible to work and reside in Canada.
  • 5+ years of experience as a data analyst, digital merchandiser, or related field.
  • Proficient in SQL and comfortable working with large datasets.
  • Excellent use of G-Suite (Docs, Sheets, Drive, Calendar).
  • Detail-oriented with strong organization and project management skills.
  • Comfortable working autonomously and managing multiple initiatives.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Experience in tech, e-commerce, or consumer app merchandising.
  • Proven ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Background in operations, marketing, or merchandising within digital platforms.
