Coex Capital is a new to market specialist prime equipment financier offering a single product (chattel mortgage) with distribution exclusive to accredited commercial finance brokers. Our core borrowers are SMEs in the engineering & construction, mining services, manufacturing, transport and logistics sectors seeking finance for high quality, revenue generating assets.
Our mission is to deliver broker-focused service for equipment finance solutions which respects and values the brokers’ relationship with their client, the Coex Capital borrower. This is achieved by providing a predictable and consistent service in a convenient and customer-focused way.
Our shareholders include some of Australia’s largest Equipment Finance broking groups. This is unique, meaning Coex Capital is “built with brokers, for brokers”.
The Operations Officer is an important role of Coex Capital reporting directly to the Head of Credit and Operations. As a key member of Coex Capital and the Operations Team, the successful candidate is expected to always display the highest levels of professionalism and integrity, demonstrating sound workflow management capability and decision making that balances the needs of Coex Capital’s strategy, lenders and shareholders with the strictest adherence to policy and legislative requirements.

Responsibilities:

  • Diligently manage the new application workflow, keying new external broker application details into core systems and verifying application data where required
  • Prepare equipment finance loan documentation (chattel mortgage, direct debit authority, privacy consent etc.) in accordance with Coex Capital policy and procedures
  • Receive, assess and process loan payout and security release requests
  • Handle enquiries from colleagues, introducing brokers, borrowers and third parties
  • Maintain close working relationships with all stakeholders
  • Adhere to and monitor service level agreements
  • Input, check and update data into core systems (Salesforce)
  • Maintain timely communication and status updates to broker introducers
