ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a reliable, customer friendly and fast learning person to join our Operations team at our branch based in Eagle Farm QLD 4009. Enjoy the security of this permanent full-time position working Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm! In this role your key responsibilities would include:

• Booking in a range of assets by taking photos, entering descriptions and details onto our user-friendly auction system
• Locate, move (using a forklift), and record the movements of all assets
• Conduct daily prestart forklift checks, weekly detail and maintenance checks, and complete forklift logbooks to ensure all activities are carried out in a safe manner.
• Load/unload trucks of assets efficiently to ensure they are delivered in a timely manner.
• Assist with the preparation of the weekly auction
• Maintain a safe work environment and following all WHS policies and procedures

To be successful in this role, you will need to have the following skills and experience:

• Current, valid manual driver’s licence (essential)
• Current, valid forklift licence (essential)
• HR licence desirable but not essential
• Ability to use an iPad
• A strong commitment to safety
• Good attention to detail
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent customer service skills
• Able to maintain quality standards and meet deadlines
• Good organisation skills
• Ability to work as part of a tea
