JOB OVERVIEW

Modality Partnership Nottingham Division has a part-time vacancy for an Operations Officer. The postholder will be responsible for the provision of a high quality, comprehensive administrative service within practice assisting the Service Delivery Manager and Senior Management Team working at Wellspring Surgery. Assist in leading the Practice in developing the use of information technology to enable it to meet modernization targets, maximize income and improve patient care. We are seeking a dedicated postholder to join our team who can display our CARE values: Commitment, Accountability, Respect and Excellence. Salary for this role is £13.25 per hour

To provide high quality and comprehensive support to the Executive Team and to support the Executive Team and Practice Managers in all aspects of the development of the Division to maximise full potential.

KNOWLEDGE

  • NVQ3 in administration or equivalent level of administrative knowledge and experience
  • GCSE English or equivalent
  • Understanding of NHS systems

SKILLS:

  • Proficient in key MS applications such as Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
  • RSA 3 Word Processing or equivalent level of practical experience
  • Accurate audio typing or speedwriting
  • Diary Management

Responsibilities

MAIN DUTIES OF THE JOB

The role is an all-rounded, hands-on administrative role; the post holder will need to confidently evidence and utilise key skills such as effective communication, time management, diary management, good IT skills and the ability to prioritise projects with differing urgency timescales as requested within the Executive and Senior Management Teams. The postholder will provide administrative services working alongside the Service Delivery Manager to support the Divisional Board and Senior Management Team in all aspects of the ongoing development of the division.
The role is not a regular 9am-5pm job. The postholder will be required to work across all divisional sites. The job requires innovation, flexibility, and commitment and the postholder will be required to work resourcefully as part of the Senior Management Team to ensure tasks are completed.
