Description

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • A valid driver’s license (if travel between sites is required).
  • Strong attention to detail and proactive in identifying areas needing attention.
  • Practical experience in building maintenance or property operations.
  • Ability to work in various weather conditions and handle physically demanding tasks.
  • Good communication skills, with the ability to work with contractors, tenants, and other team members.
  • A flexible approach to work and willingness to take on additional responsibilities.

DESIRABLE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Previous experience in property maintenance or building operations.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
    Note: This role requires flexibility, and the duties listed above are not exhaustive. The Operations Operative will be expected to adapt to changing priorities and support the Maintenance and Operations team with any other tasks necessary to maintain the efficient functioning of the building and its facilities. This role reports in to the Estates and Facilities Manager. The successful candidates will also be expected to be available to work on call in the event of any emergencies (ROTA based)

    Pay: £25,000.00-£26,000.00 per year

Responsibilities

THE ROLE

The Operations Operative will play a key role in maintaining the smooth and efficient operation of our buildings and facilities. This is a hands-on position that involves a variety of tasks to ensure that building compliance, safety, and general operations run smoothly. You will be expected to perform routine checks and maintenance, respond to urgent needs, and work closely with the Operations Team.
