The Operations Planner is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing efficient routes and schedules for our network of lawn technicians and surface technicians to carry out treatments. This role involves analysing data and coordinating with lawn technicians as well as other members of the operations team to ensure timely completion of services. The role includes the management of daily routes as well as our repeating routes with a core focus on reducing travel times & improving efficiency across the business.

Experience

  • 2+ years of experience in route planning or logistics

Responsibilities

Planning and Scheduling

  • Develop and maintain efficient routes and schedules for lawn technicians.
  • Analyse travel time, service duration, and technician availability.
  • Coordinate with operations manager, customer service, and lawn technicians.
  • Monitor and adjust schedules to address changes in demand, weather conditions, or other unforeseen circumstances.
  • Implement and improve routing and scheduling processes and systems.

Data Analysis and Reporting

  • Collect and analyse route and service data.
  • Generate reports on technician productivity.
  • Identify bottlenecks and areas for improvement.
  • Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) including Productivity & Driving Times.

Coordination and Communication

  • Communicate routes and schedules to lawn technicians and other relevant stakeholders.
  • Facilitate meetings and discussions related to route planning and scheduling.
  • Collaborate with other departments to resolve issues and optimise processes.

Experience

  • 2+ years of experience in route planning or logistics.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £28,000.00-£32,000.00 per year
