Job Description To produce a passenger flight schedule that is operationally achievable, recoverable and ‎amendable before deliverance to NOC, ensuring the schedule integrity is maintained, enabling ‎positive OTP/punctuality. Evaluating potential risk to the Etihad operation, understanding cost implication and finding solutions which reduce impact to guests. Coordinate cross functional stakeholder input on adhoc operational events and projects. Accountabilities Responsible for evaluation of short-term and in-season schedule change requests by engaging pro-actively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure up-to-date information is communicated and the airline's published schedule is according to the agreed scheduling parameters and therefore is operationally achievable with a strong focus on protecting the airline's on-time performance Contribute to seasonal operational readiness planning, including season schedule block analysis, review of historic guest and baggage connectivity challenges and Hub departure bank compliance, to proactively take measures to avoid, minimize or mitigate risk to the company’s operation Accountable for managing the delay contestation process, reviewing underlying SOPs and SLAs and where required requesting other parties to provide feedback prior to providing a final resolution to the business with subsequent updating of relevant systems Responsible for the administration and approval of all ‘All Weather Operations’ (AWO) and ‘Dangerous Goods Approvals’ (DGR) for all Etihad Airways destinations to ensure maximum commercial competitiveness and minimum operational disruption to the Etihad Airways network schedule Supporting Senior Manager Operations Planning & Charter Delivery in projects and activities, including but not limited to new schedule routes and charter operations to ensure effective change management, robust operational control, effective contingency planning and compliance with all regulatory, safety and security requirements. Maintain current documentation at all times, ready for regulatory audits or future filings when required i.e. updated (general) foreign regulatory submission package ready at all times. Qualifications Bachelor degree level education, preferred business admin or aviation management Minimum of 5 to 7 years experience within the airline (aviation) industry with quantifiable experience (minimum 5 years) within a supervisory position.
