JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Production Manager to oversee our GLASS manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring efficient production processes, maintaining high-quality standards, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. This role requires a strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles, supply chain systems, and quality control measures. The Production Manager will lead a team of production staff and collaborate with various departments to optimize production workflows.

EXPERIENCE

• Proven experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in a management role.
• Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Familiarity with ERP systems is highly desirable.
• Experience with quality control processes and standards within a production setting.
• Demonstrated ability to manage supply chain operations effectively.
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide teams towards achieving goals.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on process improvement.

• Manage daily production operations to ensure efficiency and quality standards are met.
• Implement lean manufacturing techniques to streamline processes and reduce waste.IMPROVE EFFICIENCY AND SCRAP LEVELS.
• Oversee the fabrication and assembly of products while ensuring adherence to specifications.
• Collaborate with supply chain management to coordinate materials and inventory levels.
• Utilize SAP and MRP systems for effective planning and scheduling of production activities.
• Conduct regular quality control inspections to maintain product integrity.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives by identifying areas for process enhancement.
• Train, mentor, and develop production staff to foster a high-performance culture.
• Prepare reports on production metrics, including output, efficiency, and quality issues.
