In Countermeasure & Electromagnetic Attack Solutions, we provide next-generation threat detection and countermeasure solutions to provide unparalleled electronic warfare capabilities to enhance mission survivability.
Because this role involves a combination of collaborative/in-person and independent work, it will take the form of a hybrid work format, with time split between working onsite and remote. There will be periods of time where a majority of work will need to be performed onsite.
The Integrated Survivability Solutions (ISS) product line within the Countermeasure & Electromagnetic Attack Solutions (CEMA) business area has an exciting opportunity for an Operations Program Manager to join the team. The Product Line is well positioned for growth in the coming years and is looking for a dynamic individual to join us. This Operations Program Manager, (OPM), will be instrumental at setting the Operations foundation on an Engineering Manfuacturign Development Program.
The OPM oversees and manages Operations projects and serves as liaison between the Program Office, Supply Chain, Subcontracts, Planning, Quality, and the factory. The OPM prepares project execution plans and identifies technical and factory resources needed to meet the businesses goals and objectives. The OPM reviews status of projects and budgets, manages schedules and prepares status reports for the Program Manager and/or directly for the Customer. Finally, the OPM identifies all issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity and quality requirements.
Please note that pursuant to a government contract, this specific position requires US citizenship status and a Secret clearance.

REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS

  • Bachelor’s Degree and 8 years of experience.
  • The candidate needs to have project management skills with a thorough knowledge of the Operations functions.
  • Experience with Risk and Opportunity Management
  • Experience working engineering development programs with foresight to transition to production, which may include sub-projects of non-recurring engineering efforts.
  • Experience with Earned Value Management System.Proven skills in data analysis, leading small teams, effective communications, proposals.

  • Leadership without direct authority
  • Experience with development bills of material
  • Experience in manufacturing and/or supply chain
  • Experience adhering to and/or setting up statements of work
  • Experience assessing staffing levels and ramping up a team as needed
  • PMP Certification
