ABOUT THE ROLE

We’re looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Operations Project Manager to support capital projects across our care center network. Reporting to the Lead Care Center Project Manager, this role is responsible for overseeing facility upgrades, new builds, vendor relationships, and internal stakeholder coordination, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
You’ll play a hands-on role in managing project financials, developing scopes of work, and ensuring all moving parts of a project—from zoning to equipment installation—align with Gateway’s operational standards and values.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Collaborate with the Director of Facilities Management to define project scopes and objectives.
• Consult with internal and external stakeholders to capture user and functional requirements.
• Create and manage capital expenditure (CAPEX) documentation and approval processes.
• Lead bid tendering and procurement efforts; manage vendor selection.
• Interpret and review architectural drawings and specifications.
• Interface with municipalities for permits and compliance with zoning regulations.
• Oversee construction and buildout of new or renovated facilities.
• Track milestones, budgets, and deliverables for multiple concurrent projects.
• Support acquisition integrations and operational improvements.
• Provide hands-on project oversight, including site visits and contractor coordination.
