The Operations Project Manager leads major change projects and supports business growth. This person ensures programmes are delivered on time, within budget, and meet quality standards. They also manage new service rollouts, improve processes, and help the organisation grow sustainably. It’s a strategic, high-impact role with strong visibility across teams and leadership.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

  • 5–8 years in operations, transformation, or programme delivery.
  • Proven success in large, cross-functional projects.
  • Comfortable with project tools and governance practices.
Responsibilities
  • Lead transformation and system change projects from start to finish.
  • Use structured methods (e.g., PRINCE2, Agile) to deliver on time and on budget.
  • Track progress, manage risks, and conduct post-project reviews.
  • Redesign processes and support digital upgrades.
  • Ensure teams are ready for changes and that new systems are smoothly adopted.
  • Promote continuous improvement using Lean and Six Sigma approaches.
  • Launch and scale new services and operations.
  • Build repeatable, risk-managed processes for new business areas.
  • Collaborate with leaders to forecast needs and support long-term plans.
  • Own and manage project budgets.
  • Forecast, track costs, and ensure spending is controlled.
  • Work closely with Finance to deliver value for money.
  • Act as a link between project teams and executives.
  • Run governance meetings and ensure decisions are documented.
  • Create clear reports, dashboards, and communications for senior leaders.
  • Lead “lessons learnt” sessions to capture insights.
  • Create feedback loops to improve future projects.
  • Maintain a knowledge base of what works and what doesn’t.
