We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Operations Route Manager to support day-to-day transportation and supply chain operations. This role is responsible for ensuring shipments move efficiently, maintaining accurate information, and delivering exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, communicates effectively, and demonstrates strong problem-solving skills. This position will work closely with drivers and dispatchers to monitor and improve lane performance. Key Responsibilities: Track and trace shipments to ensure on-time pickups and deliveries Coordinate with carriers, drivers, and internal teams to manage freight movement Conduct regular check calls with drivers to monitor shipment status Verify shipment details, including pickup/delivery times, locations, and documentation Provide timely updates to customers regarding shipment status and any changes Deliver high-quality customer service by responding to inquiries and resolving issues Identify and troubleshoot issues, implementing solutions to minimize disruptions Analyze route performance and report findings to the Operations Manager Work directly with drivers and dispatchers to improve performance on assigned lanes Benefits: Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance Short Term Disability Insurance at no cost to employee 401(k) Plan with Company Match Profit Sharing Plan Paid Time Off Holidays Requirements Education and Experience: The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. High school diploma, GED, or equivalent; bachelor’s degree in business administration, supply chain management, logistics, or related field preferred Experience in logistics, transportation, or supply chain operations Background in customer service, carrier sales, or account coordination Essential Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactory.
