The Senior Operations Finance Advisor partners with the asset team to provide financial insight and commercial guidance that strengthens decision-making around value and risk. The role also leads planning, budgeting, and reporting activities while helping deliver finance support that improves operational effectiveness and efficiency. To be successful, you will have:   * Experienced and competent finance professional, with a degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration and 10-15 years of relevant experience * Strong business partnering experience, preferably with experience related to project or asset operations * Commercial curiosity to fully understand and explore value opportunities * Ability to relay financial information to people with different financial backgrounds * Ability to aggregate the complex financial data into executive level packages for information and for decision making. Ability to distill essence and present effectively to people with different financial backgrounds * Strong problem-solving skills; taking the lead in resolving issues * Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with all levels throughout the organization, and experience participating in cross-functional initiatives or projects * Influencing and consultancy skills to quickly gain the trust of the project team members, escalate timely and properly, maintaining a balance of challenge and support This role requires that you:  * Work in Calgary, with support to Kitimat and other locations as necessary. * Flexible work options will be supported where possible.
