Salary Min Salary Max Overview The Operations Service Representative, Mail is responsible for a range of tasks including payment and deposit processing, mobile deposit review, tax levy processing, policy adherence, and various backup roles. This role supports multiple functions within the department. Responsibilities Payment and Deposit Processing: Promptly open and post payments and deposits received through USPS, UPS, and FedEx. Ensuring all negotiable instruments are correctly posted and scanned to be included in the daily cash letter. Generate necessary balancing reports. Mobile Deposit: Assist with the processing of all mobile deposits, ensuring timely and accurate completion. Savings Bonds: Process savings bonds with accuracy, ensuring proper balancing and timely reporting. Mail Handling: Manage internal and external mail processing efficiently. Foreign Item Processing: Process foreign items received by the Operations Department. Levy Processing: Process levies received from various government agencies. Policy Adherence: Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of and adhere to the Negotiable Instrument Policy, Internal Control Policy, and BSA/OFC/CIP Policy. Backup roles: Serve as a backup for all Operation Service Representatives: managing a multi-line switchboard, directing lobby traffic, providing front desk support, handling ATM-related tasks, loading account specific information into Verafin, along with any other Operations-related task. Document Scanning: Assist with scanning membership cards, IRA files, and other documents as assigned. All other duties as assigned. Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent required. 2+ years of experience, preferably at a credit union. Complete adherence to all corporate standards and policies, demonstrating a commitment to organizational compliance and ethical practices. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in processing transactions. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Ability to handle multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities.
