Salary: £36,000 per year
Based: Featherstone, Wolverhampton
We are seeking an operations manager who will be responsible for the efficient and safe day-to-day management of both transport and warehouse operations. You will ensure that company service levels are consistently achieved while striving to exceed customer expectations. The role also involves maintaining compliance with all company policies, health and safety standards, and legal and regulatory requirements.
You will lead and develop the transport and warehouse teams, ensuring all employees are aware of expectations, policies, and procedures, and are managed fairly in line with company guidelines.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

• Proven experience managing both transport and warehouse operations.
• Knowledge of transport legal compliance and warehouse standards (e.g., BRC accreditation).
• Operational knowledge of food logistics is desirable.
• Excellent organisational, planning, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong leadership abilities with a focus on team development and performance management.
• Proficiency in MS Office and transport/warehouse management systems (WMS).
