Description
Join a team that moves fast and thinks big. We offer a high-growth environment where your impact is visible on the streets of Bulgaria every single day. If you’re ready to roll up your sleeves and shape the future of urban transportation, let’s talk. About us With over 200 million customers in 50+ countries, Bolt is one of the fastest-growing tech companies in Europe and Africa. And it's all thanks to our people. We believe in creating an inclusive environment where everyone is welcome, regardless of race, colour, religion, gender identity, sexual orientation, national origin, age, or disability. Our ultimate goal is to make cities for people, not cars, and we need your help to achieve this mission! About the role As an Operations Specialist, you aren't just managing a fleet; you are the heartbeat of Bolt’s micromobility mission in Bulgaria. You will sit at the intersection of data-driven strategy and real-world execution. Your mission is to ensure that riders have a seamless, safe, and reliable experience every time they unlock a Bolt scooter. You will be the bridge between our global high-level goals and the local "boots on the ground," managing critical relationships with third-party logistics (3PL) partners and local municipalities to keep our cities moving efficiently. Main tasks and responsibilities:Fleet Operations: Monitoring city-wide metrics to ensure our scooters are in the right place, at the right time, and fully charged. 3PL Management: Managing local relationships with our logistics partners. You’ll track their KPIs, optimize their routes, and ensure they meet the high standards that Bolt riders expect. Operational Architecture: Creating and streamlining standardized processes. If there’s a bottleneck in how we repair or deploy scooters, you’re the one to fix it. Data-Driven Decision Making: Analyzing local trends and risks to identify growth opportunities. You’ll report these insights to stakeholders to help shape our regional strategy. Stakeholder Diplomacy: Acting as the primary point of contact for Municipality officials, as well as collaborating internally with our Legal, Marketing, and Customer Support teams. Compliance & Safety: Ensuring every aspect of our operation meets local health, safety, and legal regulations to keep our riders—and the brand—protected. About you:The Analytical Mindset: You are proficient in Excel and Google Products. You don't just see numbers; you see stories and solutions. The Operational "Fixer": You have at least two years of experience in Operations, Logistics, or a related field. You thrive when things are moving fast and know how to prioritize tasks under pressure. Bonus Points - Previous experience in micromobility or shared services is a huge plus, but your drive and operational "grit" are what matter most. Communication: You are fluent in both English and Bulgarian (written and spoken). You can negotiate a contract with a 3PL partner and then sync with our Central Ops team in Tallinn without missing a beat. Independence: You don’t wait for a manual. You are a self-starter who takes ownership of your cities and can work effectively without constant supervision. Detail-Oriented: Whether it’s reading through municipal ordinances or checking 3PL performance logs, your reading comprehension and attention to detail are top-tier. Experience is great, but what we really look for is drive, intelligence, and integrity. So even if you don’t tick every box, please consider applying!
