Responsibilities
  • As an Operations Specialist, you will be a key player in managing the technical and documentation aspects of decommissioning and maintenance activities. Your main responsibilities will include:
  • Preparing and Managing Documentation: You will create detailed work packages, technical documents, and work scopes, ensuring they align with both company and regulatory standards. This will involve gathering and analyzing complex legacy CNL drawings, reports, and logs to support decommissioning and maintenance tasks.
  • Field Walkdowns & Verification: You will perform field walkdowns to verify the status of facilities against documented plans and ensure all maintenance and decommissioning activities are properly executed.
  • Collaborating for Technical Input: Work closely with engineers, design teams, and other subject matter experts to gather technical input and ensure compliance with project requirements.
  • Troubleshooting and Problem Resolution: Resolve complex maintenance or decommissioning issues and provide technical leadership to ensure proper equipment performance during decommissioning.
  • Documentation for Preventative Maintenance (PM): Prepare and review all clearances for PM activities, including Order-to-Operate and Job Hazard Analysis, ensuring smooth execution in the field.
  • Improvement and Efficiency: Provide field oversight to identify opportunities for increasing efficiency and improving safety in work processes. Generate documentation for safe execution of Preventative Maintenance and new work activities.
  • You will also interact with regulatory bodies, participate in site committees, and provide immediate and long-term solutions to emergent technical issues.
  • Other duties as assigned by your manager.
