REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum 3 years of middle office experience preferably with a hedge fund or sell side firm.
• Solid understanding of financial products and market systems.
• Knowledge of static data and post trade platform systems.
• A keen eye for detail, a curious mindset and a willingness to challenge the status quo.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills. Orchestrade experience a plus.
• Operates with the highest degree of ethics and integrity.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

The Middle Office team is an integral part of the firm and ensures timely, accurate and thorough execution of trade support and portfolio valuation functions.
We are seeking for a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our Operations team - an excellent opportunity to gain experience and exposure within the hedge fund industry.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Support the Operations and Investment teams by ensuring the accuracy and integrity of static data within Orchestrade and other operational systems.
• Assist in testing and upgrading the Orchestrade system and Tradeflow, contributing to projects aimed at improving system functionality and performance.
• Work closely with Orchestrade, Fund Administrators, and other stakeholders to optimise daily processes, achieve operational efficiencies, and improve system performance.
• Periodically review and verify the accuracy of static data, while also providing input services for other types of static and reference data across multiple operational systems.
• Conduct intraday health checks to monitor system integrity, including tasks related to file integrity and the resolution of any potential issues in real-time.
• Work to improve the process of trade data transfer with third-party vendors, ensuring timely and accurate data exchanges to reduce errors.
• Act as a liaison between prime brokers and internal teams to minimize trade discrepancies, ensuring that any breaks are quickly identified and resolved.
• Assist with the Hotfix testing and collaborating with the development team to automate checks where possible.
• Onboard investment staff into Orchestrade, provide training, and act as the first point of contact for internal queries.
• Expand upon knowledge of products and technology for personal development and growth within the Operations team.
