Description The Operations Specialist is crucial to the success of Darwin Perennials. Providing full spectrum support to the Darwin Perennials team for accurate inventory management and maintenance in addition to providing accurate and timely customer support for Darwin Perennials customers. This role is essential in ensuring a smooth supply chain flow from supplier to customer, maintaining program integrity, and supporting strong cross-functional relationships. Job Responsibilities and Duties Manage accurate posting and ongoing maintenance of the Darwin Colombia assortment and inventory to enable timely, error-free customer bookings, while overseeing the complete overbooking and shortages process—including evaluating requests, identifying inventory gaps, developing corrective action plans, conducting root-cause analysis, and communicating updates to cross-functional teams. Analyze sales forecasts and develop desired inventory plans for Darwin Colombia to support sales growth, maximize farm space utilization, and align with production capacity. Create and review operational reports in SAP, Power BI, and Excel to support forecasting, planning, and performance tracking. Oversee order management and system accuracy—including order entry, B2B audits, and issue resolution—to minimize errors and maintain high service levels. Build and maintain strong relationships with production farms, sales teams, distributors, and internal partners through timely, accurate communication and cross-functional collaboration to coordinate product trials, resolve issues, and support key initiatives. Requirements Minimum Associate's degree; Bachelor's degree will be strongly considered. 2-3 years' of operational or B2B customer service is highly preferred. Must have proficient PC knowledge, including MS Word, Excel, Outlook. Proficiency in SAP or an ERP system a plus Demonstrated strong customer support experience required.
