Job Details Level: Experienced Job Location: Nashville, TN 37217 We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Operations Specialist to play a crucial role in optimizing our healthcare group purchasing organization's operational efficiency and effectiveness. This position will be instrumental in streamlining processes, enhancing member experiences, and maximizing contract utilization. The ideal candidate is a data-driven individual with a strong understanding of contract management, business operations, and process improvement methodologies. Experience with a group purchasing organization is a plus! This role will report to the VP, GPO Services. This role can be performed Remotely or from our office in Nashville, TN. Duties & Responsibilities Process Improvement: Analyze existing operational processes to identify areas for improvement and efficiency gains. Develop and implement streamlined workflows for member onboarding, contract utilization, and administrative tasks. Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for all operational processes. Leverage technology and automation to optimize workflows and reduce manual effort. Member Onboarding: Develop and execute a comprehensive onboarding program for new members. Provide training and support to new members on programs, contracts, and tools. Act as a primary point of contact for member inquiries and issue resolution. Build strong relationships with member organizations to foster engagement and satisfaction. Contract Utilization Optimization: Analyze contract utilization data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement. Develop and implement strategies to increase member participation in contracts. Collaborate with internal teams and vendor partners to promote contract offerings and drive utilization. Track and report on key performance indicators related to contract performance. Admin Fee Reporting and Collection: Manage the accurate and timely reporting of administrative fees. Develop and implement processes for efficient fee collection. Reconcile member accounts and address any discrepancies. Create reporting to track fees and measure performance. Vendor Contracting Support: Assist in the vendor contracting process by gathering and analyzing data, preparing reports, and coordinating with internal stakeholders. Support the negotiation and implementation of new contracts. Maintain accurate records of vendor contracts and performance data. Qualifications Experience: 5+ years of experience in operations, contract management, or a related field within a membership-based organization. Experience with a GPO is a plus! Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or a related field. Skills: Strong understanding of contract management, and procurement processes. Proven ability to analyze data, identify trends, and develop actionable insights. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint. Experience with CRM and data analysis tools is a plus.
