The Operations Specialist will provide essential operational support to credit unions participating in the shared branching network. The Operations Specialist ensures adherence to all CO-OP Shared Branch Operating Rules and Regulations, serving as a knowledgeable resource and point of contact for partner institutions.
As an Operations Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong professional relationships with participating credit unions, providing operational support on a variety of issues, including accounting inquiries, member service challenges, report distribution, and procedural guidance. The Operations Specialist will respond to credit union inquiries promptly and accurately through phone, email, and our ticketing system. You will also distribute fraud alerts as needed, conduct web-based training for credit union personnel, and assist in preparing customized transaction reports.
Additionally, the Operations Specialist will maintain key contact information and project updates in Salesforce, support paperwork and configuration processes for new or updating credit union participants, and review outlet audits to implement necessary corrections or updates. You may also represent the department in advisory, marketing, and user meetings, and will perform other duties as assigned to ensure seamless support of the shared branching network.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Associate degree in business, finance, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of progressive experience in a credit union, other financial institution, or related business.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
