We are hiring for one of our ecosystem projects in the digital asset space, they are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Operations Specialist to join their dynamic team. In this role, you will play a critical part in managing trade operations, ensuring accuracy in reporting, and driving process improvements in a fast-paced financial environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mid-office operations, technical proficiency in automation tools, and a passion for optimizing workflows. This role is Hong Kong onsite. Job Description Manage daily trade processing, including reconciliations of positions, profit/loss, settlement issues, and corporate actions Deliver timely and accurate reports covering trades, portfolio positions, cash balances, expenses, and performance attribution Oversee all operational tasks across the trade lifecycle, from execution to final settlement Work closely with external partners, such as custodians, counterparties, and brokers, to onboard new clients and resolve operational challenges Identify opportunities to enhance operational processes, prioritizing efficiency and scalability Develop and deploy automated tools to improve workflows, leveraging data management best practices with tools like VBA, SQL, and Python Document all process improvements and technical solutions clearly to facilitate team collaboration and knowledge sharing. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related discipline 3+ years of experience in mid-office or operations roles, ideally within a buy-side firm or prime brokerage Strong understanding of financial products, including equities, ETFs, derivatives, and foreign exchange Proficiency in VBA, SQL, and Python is required Proven track record of optimizing processes and implementing automated solutions, preferably in a trading context Exceptional problem-solving abilities with a forward-thinking approach to operational challenges
