HOW WILL YOU CONTRIBUTE AND GROW?

The primary function of this job is to oversee all day to day operational activity including all on site operations related to Process and Pipeline Services (PPS) activities. The Operations Supervisor will ensure that all PPS personnel and equipment are dispatched to any job site in which PPS activities are taking place. Ensuring that all personnel and equipment are prepared to complete the activities. In addition, the Operations Supervisor will oversee safety, customer service, inventory, equipment, facilities management, vehicles, community relations, and resolution of personnel issues.

  • Manages all operations personnel assigned to them in accordance with company policies by hiring, training, motivating, planning and directing work, managing performance and resolving associate issues so that assigned performance targets are met or exceeded.
  • Assists Director of Process and Pipeline Services (PPS) with capital expenditure budget and coordinates capital expenditures once proper approvals have been received.
  • Manage and control operating expenses, minimize overtime, within budget constraints.
  • Develops, implements and revises, as needed, standard operational practices.
  • Manages and assists with the maintenance of adequate inventory levels.
  • Coordinates maintenance and repair of equipment and facilities and maintains files on equipment maintenance and production.
  • Resolves operational and maintenance problems to ensure minimum costs and minimum delays.
  • Lead and promote safety for all associates.
  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks with other technical people and vendors and participating in professional societies.
  • Protects operation of the company by keeping associate, financial, production, sales and marketing information and plans confidential.
  • Maintains the corporate image and philosophy in all contact with co-workers, customers and vendors.
  • Consult with the Safety Department as needed to address unsafe work conditions or any other safety issues.
  • Consult with the Human Resources Department regarding personnel issues and to ensure disciplinary issues and performance deficiencies are properly discussed, documented in a timely manner.
  • Consult with other members of the Senior Management team and Functional Managers as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures, including, but not limited to Equal Employment Opportunity, workplace violence, drug-free workplace workers compensation and other policies designed to provide associates with a quality work environment.
