Responsibilities

As Operations Supervisor, you will:

  • Oversee the day-to-day scheduling and coordination of drainage and pest control engineers across multiple locations.
  • Manage planned works as well as reactive emergency call-outs, ensuring a rapid and effective response to urgent customer needs.
  • Plan and coordinate specialist services such as tanker operations and pump engineer deployment for complex drainage issues.
  • Arrange and manage the ordering of job specific materials and hire of plant and specialist equipment, ensuring availability and compliance with requirements.
  • Act as the first point of contact between the operational team and senior management, providing updates, communicating priorities, and resolving escalations.
  • Offer daily guidance and support to engineers and operational staff, promoting teamwork and resolving on-site or operational issues as they arise.
  • Serve as a central link between engineers, clients, and management to ensure smooth job execution.
  • Oversee high-value jobs and projects, ensuring delivery within budget, timescales, and customer expectations.
  • Support operational planning and resource allocation to minimise downtime and maximise productivity.
  • Maintain accurate job records and documentation, ensuring compliance with health & safety standards.
  • Foster a collaborative and positive team culture, with a focus on service excellence and continuous improvement.
