SUMMARY AND PURPOSE Lead the Operations Team to meet all project milestones, quality standards and cost objectives. Develop and implement processes that improve operational performance metrics. Act as a liaison between the Operations Team, Engineering, Sales/Applications, and Service KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Planning/Scheduling: Manage department to align with corporate objectives, facilitate the planning and integration of the flexible workforce throughout manufacturing. Work closely with the Production Scheduler for manpower planning. People Management: Assist in the annual employee review process, manage daily employee performance and effectiveness, effectively communicate job expectations and motivate employees to attain required business results. Approval weekly timecards. Ensure operational output meets quality standards. Evaluate processes by analyzing time, number of workers, equipment, actions workers need to take, achieving the product with no errors, safety, and environmental requirements. Analyze financial data to expose any information useful in improving operating efficiencies and changes in product design, raw material, or manufacturing methods to determine effects on equipment usage and financial impact. Provide input and guidance in regard to production improvement opportunities. Be an agent for continuous improvement of culture. Troubleshoot daily operational issues and address problems with customer service, quality, or team dynamics. Maintain good relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Work cohesively with all ancillary teams Ensure operational teams follow all policies and procedures. Build professional skill through continued training, education, and networking events. Perform other related duties as assigned by senior management. Requirements PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS Education Associates Degree preferred Experience 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment. 2+ years of ESS experience or equivalent desired. Skills Training/education in leadership or project management required. Microsoft technology and relevant manufacturing software.
