As our team continues to grow, we are currently seeking an experienced Operations Supervisor for the night shift (11 PM – 7 AM).

Responsibilities

OPERATIONS SUPERVISOR ROLE:

The primary function of this position is to oversee all warehouse operations during the night shift, including receiving, picking, order assembly, and van loading, to ensure delivery drivers are fully prepared to meet customers’ delivery requirements. While meeting operational requirements, the Operations Supervisor is also responsible to ensure that all employees are working safely and in accordance with company policies and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPS).

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Ensure that customer orders are picked and shipped in a timely fashion, within prescribed metrics, following all SOPs.
  • Provide ongoing leadership, training, and support to employees in the following areas:
    o Make sure all accessorial activities are properly documented for customer billing purposes.
    o Assist in processing returns.

o Proper counting and coding of inbound and outbound freight.

  • Support operations leadership team in all warehouse expense management, to include labor and overtime spend.
  • Assist in the investigation process of any product variances.
  • Ensure employees are compliant with all Company policies and procedures, to include Health and Safety.
  • Actively identify safety issues and process improvement opportunities.
  • Consistently communicate with the employees to reinforce safety, process compliance/changes, relay site performance and other operational/company initiatives, supporting an informed and engaged workforce.
  • Promote a positive, collaborative, engaging, safe workplace culture, evaluating the environment daily at shift start to confirm safety compliant.
  • Oversee power equipment operators, ensuring proper and safe operation.
  • Support Operational leadership team in ongoing projects and initiatives.
