The Operation Supervisor provides oversight in productivity and compliance by preparing and reviewing company reports. This role holds responsibility for terminal communications, identifying opportunities and providing related action plans to achieve company goals.

Responsibilities
  • Responsibility in driver accountability relating to collisions, injury, or damages when required and verify notification to upper management, insurance carriers, and customers.
  • Coach drivers on company policies to ensure proper compliance in their daily functions relating to DOT, quality, rote planning, and attendance.
  • Review and reconcile vehicle inventory for accuracy for efficient shipping.
  • Assist in daily operational functions to include dealer or other customer inquiries, answer phones as needed to ensure the dispatch process operates efficiently.
  • Supervise facility SOP’s with random audits in the load yards.
  • Ensure administrative operational duties relating to all company departments are completed timely.
  • Provide accurate reporting of daily shipping details to all levels of customers and internal management.
  • Monitor and provide feedback to additional strategies that may improve operations.
