Job Details Job Location: Thatcher Company Inc - Salt Lake City, UT Position Type: Full Time Salary Range: $27.00 - $28.00 Hourly Job Shift: Day Description Job Description The Chlorine Room Operations Supervisor provides leadership for the Chlorine Room chemical manufacturing facility in Salt Lake City, UT. Thatcher Company is committed to ensuring that our products are manufactured in a manner that provides value to customers while maintaining top safety and environmental standards. The Chlorine Room Shift Supervisor is responsible for leading the team to achieve these operational goals and objectives. Key Accountabilities/Responsibilities Drives continuous improvement with operational, safety, environmental, performance and quality metrics. Works with local team to ensure that plant resources are being utilized to achieve objectives. Direct supervision of production personnel. Prioritizes tasks and assignments and deploying resources in alignment with production schedule Ensures compliance of the site with corporate policies, federal regulations, and state regulations, including OSHA, DOT, EPA and local environmental agencies. Leads and provides training to team members to develop a culture of continuous improvement. Ensures data integrity through transactions and inventory control of raw materials and finished product. Maintains cleanliness standards for facilities and equipment. This is a swing shift position What’s In It for You? Qualifications Desired Qualifications Excellent leadership, communication, and troubleshooting skills 2+ years of successful leadership experience in a chemical manufacturing or similar environment. In-depth knowledge of chemical processes, equipment, and safety protocols. Knowledge of hazardous chemicals and industry standards regarding good manufacturing processes and equipment. Strong understanding of relevant safety and environmental regulations, including OSHA, DOT, EPA standards. Proficiency with standard ERP systems, process controls, and Microsoft Office products HAZWOPER certification preferred
