Description Kinsley Power Systems, one of the largest generator distributors and service providers in the northeast, is seeking an Operations Supervisor. The Operations Supervisor is responsible for providing overall supervision, coordination, parts, warehouse and administration of the operations/service function, in order to meet the objectives of the company's overall business plans and strategies. Key Responsibilities: Supervise day-to-day Operations for the assigned branch; provide backup support to other locations as needed Support the Operations Manager by leading Operations staff (Field Service Technicians and service support), including hiring, coaching, training, and performance management Drive operational efficiency, productivity, and adherence to company policies, procedures, and safety standards Develop, monitor, and improve workflows and processes to ensure high-quality service delivery Support after-hours emergency service operations Analyze branch operations, workflows, and schedules to optimize performance Support financial performance by assisting with budgeting, P&L review, reporting, and annual business planning Oversee parts, warehouse, and logistics activities including receiving, shipping, staging, and supplier coordination Support field technicians with parts lookups, compatibility, quotes, and inventory availability Perform other duties as assigned Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree plus two+ years related experience; equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered on a case-by-case basis. Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office applications; Great Plains software experience preferred Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a focus on superior customer service. Ability to travel, including overnight stays to other branch locations for training and support as needed. Availability on a 24/7 basis for response in an emergency services business Demonstrated ability to work independently, under pressure and to multi-task.
