The Supervisor is responsible for the day-to-day running ensuring customer requirements are met, staff understand what is expected of them (including safety), and all compliance and regulations are met. About the Role: Reporting to the Operations Manager, we are looking for someone to join our team who will be responsible of ensuring that the Wiri – Day Shift cold storage products are operated efficiently and effectively to maintain the highest level of service for our customer. You will be a strong communicator and be able to respond quickly to changing demands. Enhancing and maintaining the effective working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders. You will be a leader of health and safety in our Sulphur Point facility. We are looking for a minimum of 4 to 5 years’ experience in an operations/warehousing role with leading a team. Experience of export licensed/regulatory environment is an advantage. If you have the following attributes and experience, this could be the job for you: lead and build on Lineage’s health and safety culture effective leadership, with a strong focus on staff plan and direct work activities in a dynamic environment proficient numeracy and analytical skills ensure all organisational and operational procedures and policies are adhered to ensure all inwards, and outward/export processes meet regulatory and licence requirements control inventory and have the ability to work a computer-based tracking system have proficient verbal and written communication skills hold a current Forklift Operators licence Reach Truck experience and advantage 8 hours minimum but operations continue until all product is placed for the day. Responsibilities
The Supervisor is responsible for the day-to-day running of the Wiri Day Shift cold storage operations, ensuring customer requirements are met, staff understand safety expectations, and all compliance and regulations are adhered to. This role involves leading health and safety efforts and enhancing relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
