EDUCATION & LICENSING:

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Valid Driver’s License required
  • Forklift certification preferred or willingness to obtain

EXPERIENCE:

  • 3+ years of supervisory experience, ideally in warehouse or fulfillment environments
  • Experience with building materials (especially roofing products) is a strong plus

SKILLS:

  • Strong organizational and leadership abilities
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Basic computer proficiency (MS Office, warehouse software)
  • Strong reasoning, math, and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Responsibilities

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

As the Operations Supervisor, you will take charge of:

  • Overseeing day-to-day warehouse operations including inventory management, shipping & receiving, and labor scheduling.
  • Leading and supervising warehouse staff, ensuring safe and efficient workflows.
  • Maintaining high standards of customer service—fast, friendly, and accurate.
  • Managing productivity goals and driving continuous improvement.
  • Ensuring property security, including alarm response after hours.
  • Participating in hiring, promotions, and performance feedback for warehouse staff.
  • Supporting general labor and forklift operations as needed to maintain flow.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Load/unload deliveries and customer orders.
  • Monitor and maintain accurate inventory through regular counts.
  • Operate forklifts and delivery vehicles (must be licensed).
  • Ensure workplace safety and regulatory compliance.
  • Collaborate with Branch, Sales, and Production Managers to hit business goals.
  • Assist in warehouse and property maintenance and cleanliness.
