What you will be doing

  • Customer-Centric Operations: Work closely with direct and indirect Sales teams to ensure internal processes and performance consistently exceed evolving customer expectations. Build and maintain trusted relationships with customers and budget holders by leveraging specialist knowledge to align offerings with customer needs.
  • Compliance & Best Practices: Lead, develop, and maintain compliance excellence by fostering a high-performing team culture that drives best practices, encourages positive behaviour’s, and builds credibility as trusted advisors to customers.
  • Continuous Improvement & Innovation: Establish and sustain a culture of continuous improvement through innovation and commercial awareness, enhancing both customer experience and financial performance.
  • Team Leadership & Performance Management: Define and manage key performance indicators (KPIs) and key risk indicators (KRIs) for direct reports. Provide inspirational leadership, fostering commitment and accountability to maximise team performance. Lead by example, demonstrating integrity and professionalism at all times.
  • Reporting & Data Management: Develop and maintain comprehensive reporting packs that accurately reflect services and operational performance. Ensure customer-requested changes are documented and processed through appropriate change procedures. Build a suite of reports to support service operations and business insights.
  • People Development: Lead, coach, and develop team members through structured people management practices, including personal development plans (PDPs), training, and effective communication. Foster a culture of trust, engagement, and succession planning to ensure the team meets current and future business needs.
  • Operational Excellence: Take full operational responsibility for the Operations Team, ensuring alignment with agreed SLAs and departmental objectives to drive efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Stakeholder & Relationship Management: Establish and maintain strong internal and external relationships to enhance the customer experience and optimize cost control.
  • Business Partnership & Strategic Initiatives: Act as a trusted business partner across all functions, leading key projects, managing contracts, and overseeing vendor transitions to ensure seamless execution.
  • Financial Analysis & Scenario Planning: Support ongoing financial analysis and scenario modelling to facilitate strategic decision-making and business expansion
