JOB DESCRIPTION

Down East Hospitality Inc. is a multi-unit restaurant franchise that owns and operates 9 Tim Hortons Restaurants across HRM. We have 2 Restaurants inside the Halifax International Airport, one pre-security & one post-security. We are looking for someone who has at least 1 year of Tim Hortons (or similar) experience and has knowledge of the quick service industry, taking pride in supporting the Restaurant Manager in the day-to-day operations of our fast-paced business.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Drivers License and access to your own vehicle
  • Legally allowed to work in Canada
  • Excellent Communication Skills
  • Team Player
  • Tim Hortons Experience
  • Ability to work in a fast pace environment and strong multi-tasking skills
  • Able to obtain Airport Security Pass

Responsibilities
  • Responsible for supporting the two restaurants inside the Airport with daily operations
  • Inventory - Weekly & monthly counts, entering and managing inventory
  • Ordering - Completing order twice a week for all stock/food/supplies within the restaurants
  • Transferring - Transferring product within the Airport between the two restaurants
  • Waste - Entering waste and managing these numbers
  • Assist with calling support and troubleshooting when technical issues arise
  • Calibrations and cleaning of major equipment, switching out broken equipment when needed
  • Help prepare the restaurants for their inspections
  • Assist in serving guests where necessary and respond to special guest requests in
  • a friendly manner
  • Comfortable communicating with Restaurant Manager and Supervisors
  • Help train new team members, rotate between restaurants to give support on the floor
  • Assist Manager with installing P.O.P. for upcoming promotions
