Position Overview: The Operations Supervisor plays a key role in managing their team's workflow by assigning tasks, supporting staff, monitoring results, and reporting to senior management. They ensure safety and efficiency by improving processes, setting team targets, and acting as a link between employees and upper management. Supervisors are also responsible for coaching and resolving issues. Work Location: This is an on-site role Work Schedule: Weekend days: 4AM-5A-5:30P Saturday Sunday Monday Compensation/Benefits: Attractive annual salary of $62,000-$65,000 plus bonus with benefits including PTO, sick time, corporate holidays, medical, dental and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and more.  Compensation is based on experience, skills, and education Key Responsibilities: * Promote a safe environment for the customer's product, associates, and temporary workers. * Follows established operational procedures for activities such as verification of incoming and outgoing shipments, handling, and disposition of materials, and keeping warehouse inventory current. * Provides 100% customer satisfaction. * Builds a positive teamwork environment by listening and communicating with all associates. * Helps maintain attendance and tardiness records. * Monitors daily compliance with safety procedures. * Investigates accidents and prepares reports. * Provides on-the-job coaching and training needed to ensure associate skills are maintained at desired levels. * Helps coordinate vacations, payroll, and time sheets for associates and temporary workers, complaints and associate concerns productivity and quality of work. * Oversee 25+ associates. * Maintain proper Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). Qualifications Minimum Requirements: * High school diploma or general education degree (GED) with some college level study is required * 3+ years experience in a supervisor role with direct leadership responsibility within the warehousing, distribution center, or 3PL industry * Strong oral and written communication skills * Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in a fast-paced warehouse/distribution environment * Proven experience with coaching and developing a team of warehouse associates * Proficiency with Microsoft Suite (Word, Outlook, and Excel) Preferred Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree strongly preferred * Microsoft Office Suites experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience is preferred * Lean six sigma experience a plus * Cross-dock experience is highly preferred * Third Party Logistics (3PL) experience a plus * Experience with ADP for timecard reporting and tracking
