Mō te tūranga | About the role In this region‑wide role, you’ll support the Regional Planning and Performance Manager and Regional Leadership Team (RLT) to strengthen performance, improve systems, and enable effective delivery of conservation outcomes. You’ll bring coordination, structure, and insight to a variety of regional priorities. Key responsibilities include: Manage regional certifications, competencies, and training requirements. Maintain and work confidently with regional databases, tools, and reporting platforms. Coordinate RLT led projects, track progress, and support timely delivery. Organise planning, logistics, and facilitation for regional hui and leadership meetings. Lead regional assurance activities and ensure high quality reporting. Coordinate and support regional staff to ensure effective and timely responses to emergency situations and operational events. Monitor risks and issues, supporting continuous improvement across the region. Use data and insights to drive decision making and performance improvements. This role may be based at any of our Whakatāne, Rotorua, Tauranga, or Gisborne offices. Please note that some travel to other offices within the region may be required. Excellent communication and relationship building skills. Solutions focused mindset with strong critical thinking capability. Systems savvy with an understanding of databases and Learning Management Systems experience preferred. Competent with modern collaboration tools and the Microsoft suite.
