Responsibilities

YOUR NEW ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

At Leidos Australia, our Matrix Engineering Team is a centralised group of highly skilled engineers and technical specialists who support a wide range of programs across Defence, Intelligence, and Federal Government portfolios. Operating within a matrix structure, the team is designed to provide flexible, scalable, and expert support to multiple projects simultaneously.

As part of the Matrix Operations team, you’ll work closely with the Matrix Resourcing Manager and Chief Engineering Manager to ensure smooth day-to-day operations. Your top responsibilities will include:

  • Manage resource allocations across multiple programs and support recruitment efforts in collaboration with Talent Acquisition.
  • Oversee onboarding/offboarding processes, seating allocations, and training coordination across Leidos and customer sites.
  • Organise internal events, prepare stakeholder communications, and contribute to leadership meeting outcomes.
  • Track, plan, and submit contractor extensions to ensure continuity and compliance.
  • Maintain program documentation, registers, and templates in line with internal processes.
