Description
Position Summary: The Operations Support Driver plays a key role in ensuring timely and efficient delivery services, with a primary focus on service recovery for missed or delayed deliveries. This position also provides administrative and operational support to the Customer Service Department. The role requires strong customer service skills, flexibility, and the ability to perform physically demanding work. Minimum Job Requirements: * High school diploma or equivalent required * Must have a current TB clearance * Valid government-issued ID for I-9 employment eligibility verification Qualifications: * Previous delivery or route driving experience preferred (1–3 years) * Ability to consistently lift and carry up to 50 lbs frequently * Strong customer service and communication skills * Basic computer and recordkeeping skills * Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented * Ability to work in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment * Maintain consistent attendance and adhere to assigned schedules Key Responsibilities: Delivery & Driving * Complete assigned delivery routes safely and on time * Respond promptly to service recovery requests for missed or delayed deliveries * Load and unload water bottles, coolers, and supplies * Perform frequent lifting and carrying of 5-gallon water bottles (approximately 49 lbs each), averaging up to 35 bottles per load * Return to the warehouse to reload as needed Customer Service * Provide professional and courteous service to customers * Address customer concerns and escalate issues when necessary * Represent the company in a positive and professional manner Administrative Support * Complete delivery documentation including invoices, logs, and reports * Maintain accurate delivery and customer records * Assist with filing, recordkeeping, and updating customer information * Support Customer Service and operations teams with additional tasks Safety & Compliance * Follow all traffic laws and company safety policies * Inspect and maintain cleanliness of delivery vehicles * Report accidents, damage, or safety concerns immediately * Use company-issued communication devices while on route Work Schedule: * Full-time (8:00am to 5:00pm) * Monday–Friday * Overtime and occasional weekend work may be required Benefits: * 401(k) with company matching * Medical, dental (partial), vision, and drug insurance. * Paid sick leave and vacation leave * Employee discounts on Menehune Water products Equal Employment Opportunity & ADA Statement: Menehune Water Company is an equal opportunity employer and complies with all applicable federal and Hawaii state laws.
