EDUCATION AND YEARS EXPERIENCE:

  • Third level qualification or trade certificate in an Engineering/ Science / Manufacturing discipline.
  • Three years’ work experience in an engineering / Manufacturing environment preferred.
Responsibilities

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • The Operations Support Engineer is primarily responsible for ensuring Manufacturing outputs are achieved as per the production plan.
  • TPM Engagement – Ensuring our customer relationships are maintained, being key point of contact for Sensor related challenges and ensuring prompt issue resolution and communication.
  • Supporting Non-Conformance Assessments for the Operation department ensuring the site delivers safe and effective products that meet customer needs whilst maintaining compliance.
  • Data Analysis on Equipment performance and engaging with Engineering for suitable resolutions
  • Cross functional Collaboration with QA, Supply Chain Technical Engineering and MES.
  • Problem solving supporting the Teams on Shift to get to ensure issue recurrence is minimal and root cause is achieved.
  • MES improvements and Change management in conjunction with the MES Team.
  • Collaboration and engagement with Engineering teams to achieve Yields , Cycle times and MOEE Targets.
  • Ensure adherence to 6S in the Operation areas ensuring the department conducts its business in a manner designed to be productive and protective of human health, safety and the environment.
  • Responsible for compliance with applicable Corporate and Divisional Policies and performing other duties as assigned by management.

ACCOUNTABILITY/SCOPE:

  • Reports to Manufacturing Manager.
  • Scope of decision making relates primarily to manufacturing / quality activities.
