Job Summary: MTSI is seeking to hire an Operations Support Specialist in Huntsville, AL to provide critical support to the PMO in executing various operational, strategic communication, and personnel management initiatives. This role requires a proactive individual with strong organizational skills, the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, and a keen understanding of military operations and project management principles. Key Responsibilities: · Assist in the planning, execution, and monitoring of projects and events within the PMO. · Provide operational support for senior staff meetings, including preparing agendas and tracking action items. · Plan and manage communication support for events like town halls and stakeholder briefings. · Develop and implement communication plans to ensure effective dissemination of project information to stakeholders. · Draft, edit, and distribute internal and external communications, including reports, briefings, and presentations. · Collaborate with leadership to create messaging that aligns with organizational goals and objectives. · Maintain project documentation and archives, ensuring accessibility and compliance with regulatory requirements. · Assist in the management of personnel resources, including tracking staffing levels and identifying personnel needs for projects. · Support the in-processing and onboarding of new personnel within the project management office. · Maintain personnel records and databases, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality. · Facilitate performance evaluation processes and provide support in personnel development initiatives. Qualifications: · Bachelor’s Degree and 8+ years of experience in project management, operations support, or a related field or equivalent total years of experience. · Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. · Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on clear and concise messaging. · Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Asana). · Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment and build effective working relationships. Additional Information: · Must be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance as required. · Occasional travel may be required for project-related activities.
