Responsibilities

ROLE PURPOSE:

The Operations Systems Developer is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining innovative systems solutions to improve operational efficiency. The role will focus on integrating and automating business processes using Microsoft 365 tools, including Microsoft Teams, Power BI, Power Automate, Microsoft Dataverse, and SharePoint. This position will collaborate closely with the operations team to develop scalable and effective workflows that streamline business processes and enhance collaboration.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Systems Innovation: Develop and implement new digital systems and automated processes to improve operational workflows.
  • Automation Development: Design and deploy automated workflows using Power Automate to streamline business processes and reduce manual tasks.
  • Microsoft Teams Integration: Leverage Microsoft Teams to enhance communication and collaboration, integrating it with other applications and services.
  • Data Management & Reporting: Collect, analyse, and visualise operational data using Power BI and Dataverse to support decision making.
  • Troubleshooting & Maintenance: Diagnose and resolve system issues, ensuring all workflows and integrations function optimally.
  • Process Optimisation: Identify inefficiencies within operational processes and recommend automation or system enhancements
  • Collaboration with Dev Team: Work closely with the development team to prevent project crossover and ensure seamless implementation of systems solutions.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with key stakeholders to understand system requirements, propose improvements, and provide training where necessary.
  • Security & Compliance: Ensure all automated workflows comply with security policies, data governance, and industry best practices.
  • End User Support & Training: Provide technical support, training, and documentation to ensure smooth adoption of new systems and processes
